In addition to campsites, the campground has four camping cabins located in the family campground. These cabins can accommodate up to six people.
2. Hanging Rock State Park Campsites

10. Jones Lake State Park Campsites
Located a few minutes’ drive from Elizabethtown, this campground has 20 wooded campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs. Six campsites in this campground have full RV hookups for water, electric and sewer. Each campsite has a fire ring, BBQ grill and picnic table. Bathhouse and drinking water are located nearby. A primitive group campsite is available for organized groups. This site is open year-round and it includes benches, picnic tables, and a big fire ring. The site is available by reservation only, made at least 2 days before the date of arrival.
11. Mountain Stream RV Park
This campground is located on 6954 Buck Creek Rd, Marion, North Carolina, just 3 miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway. This camping park is surrounded by gorgeous mountain scenery. There are several campsites at this park all with full hook-ups electric amp service, water, sewer, and cable TV. During your stay, you can just relax by the stream; go fishing in the nearby river or take visit many of the interesting attractions that are only a few minutes’ drive away.
12. Cliffs of the Neuse State Park
Cliffs of the Neuse State Park is located in Seven Springs, North Carolina. There are 12 campsites at this park with electrical hookups, potable drinking water, and dedicated wastewater. A washhouse with hot showers and a dump station are also provided to those camping. Each campsite can accommodate up to six people. According to the camp manager, only one camper should use the RV or tent.
13. Kerr Lake State Recreation Area
The Kerr Lake State Recreation Area is located in Henderson, North Carolina. This recreational area offers a board range of outdoor recreational opportunities for individuals and the whole family. Because of the vastness of this area, visitors get access to a vast range of camping experiences from tent and RV camping to group camping. The camping spaces at this recreational area can accommodate recreational vehicles and trailers of up to 123 feet long. There are multiple boating ramps and several swim beaches at this campground.
